Volunteer with us
We run events that bring together people working in and around technology across the Greater Exeter Area. Volunteers play a vital role, allowing us to keep our events running smoothly and ensuring a warm, welcoming experience for everyone who attends.
We offer flexible volunteering, focused on supporting individual events rather than committing to an ongoing role from the start. You can help occasionally, see how it feels, and decide over time whether you would like to get more involved.
There is no expectation of long-term commitment.
How you can help
Volunteers may be asked to support one or more of the following at events:
- Stewarding, welcoming attendees and being a visible point of contact
- Event setup and take-down
- On-the-day logistics support
- Mingling and helping attendees make connections
- Contributing speaker ideas, introductions, or useful contacts for future events
You can tell us what you are interested in and how often you would like to help. We will do our best to match you to roles, but support needs vary from event to event.
How volunteering works
- Volunteering usually starts with one-off support at a specific event
- You get free access if the event is ticketed as a thank you
- After the event, we check in to see how it went and whether you would like to help again
- If there is mutual interest, we may invite you to get more involved more regularly
There is no pressure to move beyond one-off support.
